Founded in Austin in 2003 by Stan Wright and Ashley Marshall, Signal Lost quickly entered the spotlight by recording a demo just a few days after his first concerts. The band then crossed the border for a Mexican tour. A few months later, Signal Lost produced his first album Children of the Wasteland at Prank, followed by an ep, distributed in Europe thanks to the cooperation between Trujaca Fala and Communichaos. The band then sailed for a tour in the States and Japan, and crossed the Atlantic for a five-week trip to Europe. After a tour alongside the mythical Subhumans, Signal Lost returned to the studio to record his second album, Prosthetic Screams, released in April 2007.
