Simon Scott
Biography
Simon Scott replaced Slowdive at the age of 18, in 1990, while the band entered its most creative period. He will participate in 2 albums: Just for A Day and Souvlaki and will leave the band just before the recording of Pygmalion in 1994. At that time, Scott formed and distorted Inner Sleeve and Lowgold and temporarily joined Seavault and Chapterhouse. It was only in 2006 that he seemed to find his new way through Keshhhhhh Recordings and Miamah records, which released his first solo album, Navigare, in 2009. Stuck with ghostly visions, between neo-classicism, jazz and electro, the protean disc is bombarded in many tops of the year, especially at Boomkat, known for its ambient references. While sharing the scenes with Brian Eno , Machinefabriek , Fever Ray or The Sight Below , Simon Scott , prolific, released his second album in 2011, Bunny , still at Miamah records after 3 EPs the previous year.
