Simone Simons

Simone Johanna Maria Simons is a mezzo-soprano from the Netherlands and the singer of Epica. After listening to Nightwish's Oceanborn album, her interest in music grew and she then began taking singing lessons, which led her to sing in a choir for a few months before joining Epica, newly created in 2002. In addition to a very prolific career with sound band, Simone Simons released his first solo album, Vermillion , in August 2024, composed with the help of Arjen Anthony Lucassen (Ayreon ).
