The story of the six Skaira began in 2001 in the vicinity of Gembloux in Belgium with covers of Goldfinger and Catch 22 . From the beginning, the band moved towards a ska-punk-pop in the vein of the Reel Big Fish, Mad Caddies and bands that rocked them during their teens. Come to see me again is the first demo of the Belgian combo and will open the door to the famous Belgian festivals. After a good series of concerts, the band returned to the studio in March 2003 to record the three titles of King of Chess. However, some changes in line-up (new trombonist, new drummer) do not affect their motivation. Early 2004, new EP Leave me Alone before starting to work on the first album of the Skaira which will be released in January 2005 and responds to the sweet name of Contagious Melodies . The band now has more than 40 compositions and a laugh of concerts in Belgium and France with among others Guerilla Poubelle, Freygolo, Full Up, Uncommonmenfrommars.
