Biography
Kalle Persson - drums Fredrik Wallenberg - guitar Mikael Kjellman - guitar Alexander Höglind - bass, singing
Tomas Lindberg and Adrian Erlandsson, then members of the metal band At The Gat es, joined forces with Fredrik Wallenberg and Alexander Höglind in Gothenburg in 1994. The initial objective is to start a side-project in line with raw hardcore formations such as Anti Cimex, Driller Killer, Wolfbrigade or Discharge. Originally named System Collapse , the training eventually chose Skitsystem as its patron and took advantage of At The Gates studio sessions to record its first 7 inches. Profithysteri turns out to be a huge success and shortly after its release, Skitsystem performs its first two concerts opening Warcollapse and Extinction Of Mankind. In 1996, At The Gates being in the middle of the recording session of Slaughter Of the Soul, Skitsystem took advantage of the opportunity to record the ten inches Ondskans Ansikte. It was also that year that the side-project replaced the main project in the minds of its members. 1997 marks the first line up change. After the release of Levende Lik, split with Wolfpack, Adrian Erlandsson found himself forced to leave his companions because of the increasingly busy schedule of The Haunted, where he also held the position of drummer (we will find him later at Cradle Of Filth). Resolved not to leave the case, the remaining members found him a replacement in the person of Kalle Persson (Dispense ) and Skitsystem began to perform regularly on the national scene. In July, the band embarked on a three-week North American tour. Back in Sweden, the band started working on its first album. In January 1999, Skitsystem entered Soundlab Studios with Miezko Talarzyk (Nasum) and recorded Grâ Värld/Svarta Tankar. It takes two years for his successor to be born. However, on entering the studio, the training has only three pre-recorded songs and as many writings. The frustration resulting from this situation causes a click and Skitsystem sends 16 titles, 12 of which are selected to appear on Enkel Resa Tll Rännstenen, which is released on the US Havoc Records label. Two tracks from these sessions end on split with Nasum and a third on compilation More World-Less Bank. After its release, the band performs a few concerts, including a tour with their friends Victims. As he was unable to cope with the accumulation of projects in which he participated, such as Nightrage, The Crown or Disfear, Tomas Lindberg was forced to leave Skitsystem in spring 2004. Even though its founding position made it an unavoidable member, none of the remaining members considered throwing the sponge. Taking the bull by the horns Skitsystem recruits Mikael Kjellman ( Martyrdöd , Sanctuary In Blasphemy ) who will hold the position of guitarist while Höglind will perform the song. Under this training, the Swedish perform some concerts in Europe with Poison Idea. In the spring of the same year, Skitsystem embarked on an American tour, sharing the poster with Tragedy, Hellshock, Fucked Up, Behind Enemy Lines and Kylesa. Upon return, the band returned to the studio to record its new album, Stigmata, the first without Tomas Lindberg.
