Skyfire

Skyfire was born in 1995 in Höör, South Sweden, but is part of a rather Finnish trend with an extreme metal with neoclassical influences and close to progressive. The founding duo is composed of Andreas Edlund (guitar, synth) and Martin Hanner (bass, synth). They are the only composers and the only remaining members of the original line-up. Unfortunately, the band never had a chance to match its talent. Between turnover of musicians and label changes, Skyfire struggles to get out of the ranks of outsiders. After five years of waiting, it was in September 2009, after a signature with Pivotal Records, that Esoteric arrived, the fourth album of the band.
