Slave One
Biography
Slave One was born in 2009 under the impetus of Seb, in the region of Montargis (France). With Nico on guitars and bass, he recorded a Vermin demo in which he took charge of drums and singing. Vermin lays the foundation for Slave One's identity: a Death Metal influenced by bands such as Death, Morbid Angel, Atheist, Pestilence or At The Gates, and Dark Tranquility. In 2010, the band evolved with the arrivals of Ben on rhythm guitar, Williams on bass and Nico P on singing to ensure live performance. His arrivals gave the group a new breath, which stipped the writing of new titles. In 2014, Cold Obscurantist Light was released, and the band moved to a progressive Death Metal style. Obscurantism is at the centre of this EP and serves as a subject for reflection. The band continues to refine its style and composes the songs that make up the album Disclosed Dioptric Principles , released in 2016 at Dolorem Records.
