End '98, Andernos, region of the Arcachon basin, 4 boys (Seb (drummer), Manu (guitarist singer), Stef (guitarist and a bit chorister) and Gilles (bass)) formed Slideway. After 2 EP demos in '99 and '01, the group goes into trio mode with a few line up changes spread over 2 years. Their third EP self-produced How To Become A Poilpubiar whose recording runs from November '01 to May '02 is finally released in March '03 with the help of Odette Productions and the help of Axel (ex-Buddyweed (RIP)) who gives them a hand for promotion and management...
