Som is formed in the United States thanks to Will Benoit (Guitare / Chant / Claviers) of Junius and Justin Forrest (Basse) of Caspian joined by Duncan Rich (Batterie), Mike Repasch-Nieves (Guitare) and Joel Munguia Reynolds (Guitare) The five musicians compose a first album, The Fall , which appeared in 2018 before being noticed by Pelagic Records. An ep, Awake , with a remix of Holy Fawn , appeared in 2021. A primer for The Shape Of Everything, released in early 2022 via Pelagic Records, shows a great skill in mixing Post Metal, Shoegaze, Dream Pop or Post-Rock sounds.
