Soul Glo

Emergent from Philadelphia in 2014 Soul Glo makes his way into the Punk Hardcore scene of the neighborhood by combining Rap and Noise in a particularly furious way, on the borders of the Screamo. Trained as a quartet (Pierce Jordan on the microphone, Ruben Polo on the guitar, GG on the bass + machines and TJ Stevenson behind the drums), the band released a first self-produced album at the end of 2014, and was signed by SRA Records to distribute the first judiciously titled Untitled album in 2016, followed by The Nigga In Me Is Me in 2019 and Songs To Yeet At The Sun in 2020. Soul Glo starts to set fire to local boards and the famous Epitaph label ends up spotting them. Thus the Philadelphias laid two new EPs in 2021, DisNigga Vol. 1 and 2 , then their second album Diaspora Problems in 2022.
