Static Dress

Static Dress was formed in 2018 around Olli Appleyard (Chant), Connor Reilly (Basse), Tom Black (Guitare) and Sam Kay (Battery) in Leeds, England. Initially, the quartet is heading for Hardcore Punk, but finds its style gradually with two singles in 2019: Clean and Adaptive Taste. They open for Counterparts early 2020 in the UK and in the year release a handful of singles. They open for Yours Truly at the end of 2021, as well as for Higher Power, but Black and Kay leave the band. Sam Ogden (Battery) and Contrast (Guitare) replaced them and Static Dress released the ep Prologue... in December 2021 that accompanied the comics of the same name drawn by Olli. Static Dress then finds its way to an Emocore / Metalcore that reminds some groups of the 2000s. It was with their first album, Rouge Carpet Disaster , which appeared at Venn Records in 2022, as well as a tour with Knocked Loose and Terror that the quartet really made known in the world.
