Steel Panther
Biography
While Michael Starr (chant) and Satchell (guitar) were playing together in a tribute band in Van Halen, they played in parallel with Stix Zadina (battery) and Lexi Foxx (bass) in a cover band called Metal Shop, then Metal Skool. It was under this name that the band released its first album, Hole Patrol , in 2003. Probably too much ahead of their time (it wasn't supposed to shock enough to be funny at the time), the band decided to change its name again for a most aggressive surname: Steel Panther was born. Up to crescendo in the parody and atrocity of the lyrics of his songs as his albums progress, it is thus impossible to affix to All You Can Eat, their 3rd album released on April 1, 2014, the label "album of maturity". Going even further in the farce, in 2016 the band released an acoustic live, Live From Lexxi's Mom's Garage, interspersed with sketches placed below the belt level.
