Steve Von Till

Steve Von Till is the singer/guitarist of Neurosis. In addition to taking care of Neurot Recordings with his wife, he is the author of several solo albums, under his own name or under the name of Harvestman. He developed a more introspective and mystical music, taking its roots in a more traditional American repertoire (folk, country). But if the atmosphere is more soothed, darkness and despair are never far away. These albums can also be seen as a praise for contemplation, never far from fatalism and resignation. It took seven years after A Grave Is A Grim Horse for Von Till to give him a successor, A Life Unto Itself.
