The origin of Stove is to be found in the disappearance of Ovlov. Steve Hartlett, both at the origin and at the controls of the North-East American collective, suddenly decided to throw the sponge in mid-2015 while everyone was waiting for a second album after a stunning debut. Back solo under this new pseudonym, Is Stupider , his first album composed for part of previously written songs, appeared in November on the label of the Inde that mounts Exploding In Sound Records ( Ovlov , Speedy Ortiz , Pile ...).
