Susperia
Biography
Susperia – or Seven Sins at the time – was formed in 1998 by drummer Kenneth Åkesson (Old Man's Child , Vanaheim , Dimmu Borgir ) and guitarist Terje Andersen who supported Satyricon and Old Man's Child in the studio. The following year Kenneth Åkesson left Dimmu Borgir to devote himself to Susperia . At the Wacken 1999 he met the singer Pål Mathisen who would be seduced by the demos of the two competitors. Mathisen recommended two of his band's musicians, guitarist Christian Hagen and bassist Håkon Didriksen (Old Man's Child, Vanaheim). At the end of 1999, the band recorded a demo with the support of Mustis by Dimmu Borgir on keyboards. This first essay allows Susperia to sign at Nuclear Blast, a label on which the Predominace and Vindication albums will be released. Later Susperia signed with the Norwegian Tabu and came out Unlimited and Cut From Scene .
