Swarm Of The Lotus

Swarm Of The Lotus was formed in Baltimore in 1998. After a very slow evolution in search of its style, some concerts, tracks recorded with the means of the edge, the band finally stops on what is its current face, around 2004. With a greasy metal as possible, embellished with hardcore sauce (or the contrary) with a totally chaotic atmosphere, the American combo, with line up stabilized (after many galleys) signs at At A Loss Recordings which allows him to release his first album When White Becomes Black. Compared to Botch , Converge and the whole hardcore new-school scene, the record does not make much noise in Europe. After going to Abacus, it was in 2005 that their second album The Sirens Of Silence was released which went further in their experiments. More accomplished, more black too, it pushes the delusions of the group to the end, and brings together a huge number of influences linked to the two main styles.
