Biography

Sworn In is a metalcore/deathcore band from Grayslake, Illinois, founded in 2010. Formed around Chris George (Battery), Tyler Dennen (Chant), Eugene Kamlyuk (Guitare / Chant), Zakary Gibson (Guitare / Chant) and Mike Piontek (Basse), the band released a first ep entitled Catharsis in 2011. Tyler left the band shortly after and Eugene recovered only the song, leaving the guitar. Peter Massouros and Matt Redlin are both recruited to guitars following Zakary's departure. This is when the ep Start/End was released in 2012. Surprisingly, Tyler (Chant) and Zakary (Guitare / Chant) recapture their roles at the end of 2012, Eugene is no longer on guitar, but Kenny Pickett replaces him, as well as Sean Barks replacing Mike on bass. The band signed up with Razor And Tie in 2013 to release its first effort, The Death Card . They play several times across the United States and Canada with Hundredth, Thy Art Is Murder, For The Fallen Dreams, Emmure, Attila or Like Moths To Flames. Eugene Kamlyuk (Guitare / Chant) returns to the band in 2013 and replaces Kenny while Derek Bolman (Basse) replaces Sean. Two years later, they returned to the same label with The Lovers / The Devil. Zakary Gibson left Sworn In again in 2016, but the band continued to four and released All Smiles in 2017 at Fearless Records. Running 2018 singer Tyler leaves the formation and is fully replaced by Eugene. Chris George, the drummer, moves from drummer to guitarist. A new drummer was recruited, Kyle Chloewinski, who remained until 2020 and was replaced by Alex Marcelletti. A new album is still expected to date.
