Biography

Syn was born in December 2004 by cursed the neighbor who sent the police at each rehearsal: "Smash Your Neighbor!". First trained with Julien Gibon , Thibaut Métier and Yann Métier. The band first turned to an 80's metal style until Florian Legros arrived at the battery. From then on Syn's musical style became more successful with more thrash/hardcore voices, heavy and aggressive guitars and faster and more technical battery rhythms. This change of style led Yann Métier to leave the band at the end of 2005. After recording a 5 track demo in April 2006, Maxime Legros joined the band as a bass player. Syn then began to turn in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and in the surrounding regions. The band recorded a demo of 7 tracks in July/August 2006 (Batterie studio). In October 2006 Aurélien Schwalek joined the band as a full-fledged singer to give a new stage dynamic. Syn was then managed by François Noblecourt of Hengeyokais Prod. Frédéric Wedeux (ex Gokstad ) and Bertrand Oria (ex Dylath-Leen ) joined the group during the fall of 2007. Syn recorded their first album in July/August 2007 at Studio Imagien Audio with Dimitri Dupire. Rémy Délier (Ahdden Team) was then involved in mixing and mastering in February 2008. Road To Ruin will be in the ferries in April 2008.
