Synthetic Breed
Biography
Synthetic Breed originally included four members including Vincent Zylstra and Reza Nasseri on guitars, Jonas Bahlo on bass and Mark Condello on singing. Nick Bose, the drummer, joined and left the band several times and never played on stage. In March 2004, after a few months of hearing for different drummers, Daniel Luttick came to join the line-up. This line-up was played twice on stage: after the EV's Metalfest show, the band played once again at the Green Room in Melbourne before singer Marl Condello left the band. At the beginning of October 2004, Synthetic Breed was back on stage with Nasseri singing while waiting for the new singer who arrived mid-April 2005 under the name Cal Hugues. He started the tour with the band, sharing the poster with Arch Enemy for the Australian tour. After a remarkable performance at the With Full Force Festival (Leipzig, Germany), Nasseri left the band and was directly replaced by Darcy Mildren. The band had just signed with the Faultline Records label for the recording of their first album entitled Catatonic in 2007. The group then found itself again confronted with a start, that of Mildren. In a message on their website on April 1, 2009, they announced that they were working on their second album, which later will be released as Perpetual Motion Machine on October 18, 2010.
