T O O H
Biography
T.O.O.H! (meaning The Obliteration Of Humanity) was formed in 1990 in Prague, Czech Republic, as Devastator. The group (with an average age of 15 years) played a kind of primitive grind at the Napalm Death. In 1993, the two brothers Josef and Jan Vesely (thinking heads of the group) left Prague for the campaign and renamed the band in !T.O.O.H!, which is heading towards a more elaborate grin with lyrics flirting more with black humour and cynicism than with the commitment of the beginnings. After several very well-received demos, the duo released its first album, From Higher Will , in 1999. The music of the band is indeed very atypical, a kind of psychopath death/grind with hallucinated vocals. With a contract with a Czech label, the two brothers released a new album in 2003, posing their completely crazy style. Joined by a second guitarist and bass player, T.O.O.H! is contacted in 2005 by the great label Earache (which currently counts Deicide, Cult Of Luna , Lost Soul , Decapitated ...) for a contract. The members of the combo quickly composed Rád A Trest ("Order and Punishment") which was released at the end of the year. Unfortunately, the band folds just before the release of the record, for dark stories of financial problems caused by Earache... Today, the Vesely brothers are in England, working on their new band, not without delivering three excellent albums.
