Tacitturn was born in May 2003 by the initiative of Maxime (Guitare) and Bastien (Basse). Poitevins, influenced by Kaospilot , Orchid or Envy , embark on hardcore screamo. After a first Maxi in 2005, the quartet began to shoot alongside bands like The Death Of Anna Karina , Age of Ruin , Comity and many others. In 2007, Tieu ( One Armed Scissor) joined the adventure as a singer. Following the recording of Cursed Aphrodite the same year, Simon replaced Mika with the battery. Cursed Aphrodite (EP 5 tracks), mastered by Steve Roche ( Off Minor ) is released on Empyreal Records in the USA, Hellgate (cassette format) for Germany and Now Records in France.
