Taint took shape in Wales in 1994. After a series of demos, a first mini album, called Die Die the Truthspeaker , was recorded in 2000 on the label Household Name Records. A series of concerts is then held in the company of stage cadors such as Avail, Boy Sets Fire, Canvas or Cathedral. In 2002, Taint recorded a split with their fellow citizens Black Eye Riot, hailed by both underground critics and mainstream. But it's a mini tour with Clutch that offers him an unrivalled rostrum, culminating in the London Garage. As a result, Taint organized a tour called the Tour of Fury, which proved to be a success. July 2004 saw the recording of their first album beautifully titled The Ruin of Nová Roma, which was released in England only in October 2005 on Rise Above Records. A few months later, a European tour led by their friends from Army of Flying Robots followed. To mark the event is recorded a 7 inches with Superfi Records. In 2007, Tait returned to the UK roads alongside Cluch and entered the studio to record the successor of The Ruin of Nova Roma, titled Secrets and Lies. Two years later it's apotheosis. The Welsh are featured in the Hellfest and the Roadburn, which will be immortalized on the band's latest production, All Bees to the Sea. He was separated in 2010.
