Biography

Tallisker is a wheely girl, as a young girl, she turns to a cellist, a teenager, is rocked by blues and British folk, is fascinated by artists such as Shannon Wright, Cat Power, Bjork and Beach House, spent in her twenties discovering sampling and tends to go towards trip-hop, post-rock and electro universes. In 2013, her sponsorship by the 106 , and her encounter with producer Sun Jun will be decisive, the latter gives her music a Trap hue (current hip-hop born in the South of the United States in the early 2000s), and she performs her first concert. The following year things got a little bigger, she made the first part of Woodkid, participated in the selections of the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, and was spotted by the Inrocks Lab. In the autumn, after having opened for Emilie Simon, the result of so many years of work was finally born, with Implosion her first EP 5 tracks that she financed thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, she truncates the first lines of her universe which she describes as epiphanic melodies, a sensitive and melody music that she adorns with her suave voice.
