Tar Pit

Tar Pit is a group of Sludge / Doom from Portland founded in 2014 by Derek Johnson (Battery), Brandon Martinez-Woodall (Guitar), Mat Ortega (Chant) and Alex Stanley (Guitare). He did not stay long in the band and was replaced by Alex Huston. Bassist Hayden Johnson was also recruited shortly thereafter. It is under this line-up that is composed a first demo three tracks released in 2017. Stephen Hoffman replaced Alex in 2017 and Tar Pit composed his first album, Tomb Of Doom , which was released at the end of 2018, always in a self-produced way. This is republished in 2019 by Narcoleptica Productions.
