ten56. is a French deathcore/nu-metalcore group formed in 2020 in Paris. The project was born from the initiative of Aaron Matts, former singer of Betraying The Martyrs, who wanted to explore a darker and more intense musical direction after his departure from the band. Origin of name The name ten56. refers to U.S. police code 10-56, meaning "intoxicated pieton" or "suicide". Aaron Matts was inspired by this code heard in a song by the band VILLAINS of Chicago, a musical scene that strongly influenced his tastes.
