Terzij De Horde
Biography
It was in Utrecht in 2007, and initially under the name of Liar Liar Cross on Fire that Terzij de Horde was born. Considered by its members as the very reason for the creation of the group, Terzij de Horde is strongly influenced by the writings of vitalist poet Hendrik Marshman (their name is taken from one of his poems). In 2015, the Dutch will go so far as to translate one of his poems on the EP Wacht / Lex Barbarorum . Among its members are two researchers (Joost, the singer and Johan the bassist who specializes in linguistics), the Wild Black Metal of the Bataves is inspired by the writings of many philosophers. Self , their first album, released in 2015 at Consulting Records, is dedicated to the concept of "self" and refers to texts by Friedrish Nietsche, Le Clezio, Cormarc McCarthy, Michel Houellebecq, HP Lovecraft...
