Biography

The idea of starting out was simple, however, mixing Southern rock with power metal texan, these were the bases of Texas Hippie Coalition or more simply T.H.C. Big Dad Ritch, singer - frontman - leader, was a fan of ZZ top , Black Label Society and Pantera and decided to surround himself with musicians to create a pure Texas musical product that he named Red Dirt Metal. The band recorded three albums Pride of Texas in 2008, Rollin' in 2010 and Peacemaker in 2012 before the forced departure of its guitarist Randy Cooper due to serious health problems. Today's band composed of John Exall on guitar, Cord Pool on bass and Timmy Braun on drums recorded with Big Dad Ritch two albums at the always metronomic rhythm of one every two years. Ride on was born in 2014 and Dark Side of Black in 2016.
