The Abominable Iron Sloth

The Abominable Iron Sloth is primarily the project of Justin Godfrey (guitar/song) and his friend Cayle Hunter, guitarist with Ghostride (a group composed of former members of Will Haven). During autumn 2005 the training Hardcore Metal from Sacramento decided to re-train, even enriching a second guitarist in the person of Cayle Hunter. The latter continues to work in parallel with the production of songs for The Abominable Iron Sloth, then he decides to make his sketches listen to the other members of Will Haven. Jeff Irwin (guitar), Mike Martin (bass), and Mitch Wheeler (battery) are so excited by the result that they are keen to participate in the band. The beast, initially bicephalous, has now reached its definitive form. The Sludge combo then spends much of autumn and winter 2005 locked up in studio with producer Eric Stenman ( Skinny Puppy , Deftones , Will Haven ) to record his first eponymous album. It is by the good care of the labels Goodfellow and Undergroove Records that The Abominable Iron Sloth finally sees the day at the end of March 2006.
