The Apostasy

It was at the beginning of 2014 in eastern France that both Chrsit Off and Julien members of Deep Violence (Thrash Metal) decided to set up the duo: Panties Project, but the name was only provisional. The theme addressed being religion in all its forms the two men choose a stage name in perfect fit with this one: The Apostasy. At the very beginning the musical style is not clearly defined and is located at the closest to what one might call the "Metal" simply. Then continuing the writing of the first 4 / 5 tracks, the desire to put samples and orchestral atmospheres (choruses, violins...) is felt and very quickly these first essays prove effective and the style drifts on Progressive Metal with some Death / Thrash accents. The Apostasy refines the written titles and decides to quickly release its first EP, Ite Missa Est, which in Latin translates into: Mass is said. Thanks to this recording the group can start in several dates, including one opening in Loudblast . Apostasy in the religious sense is the act of renunciation of religion. Abandoning one's faith, being debaptized, or even abandoning the doctrine in which a person lived part of his life.
