The Ascending

Formed in 2022 in Nantes, The Ascending brings together six people from a variety of backgrounds (Stinky , Alan Stivell , Kervegans , 20 Seconds Falling Man , Eddy Kaiser , No Jogging For Today , B.R.E.T.O.N.S , Tsar , Les Hommes Crabes ) and proposes an arrangement of Post-Rock, Folk, Dark Rock and Gothic, with touches of Metal, Electronics and Noise. The sextet released a first album without title in 2023 in which the music augmented by violins revolves around committed texts, performed by three voices (Jessica by Alan Stivell , Kervegans and B.R.E.T.O.N.S , Eddy Kaiser and Clair by Stinky ). The object is published by the local label Frozen Records ( Bataille , Fange , Ultra Balance , Lisieux ) also broadcast by Klonosphere ( Klone , Anna Sage , Trepalium , North ).
