The Banner

The Banner formed in 1999 in Bloomfield, New Jersey, influenced by the hardcore of the late 1980s, heavy metal and metalcore. After a first Ep Posthumous in June 2003, the band signed with Blackout Records for a first album Your Murder Mixtape . Running 2006, the band split up shortly after the release of its second album Each Breath Haunted at Ferret , and then reworked some time later. In 2008, the band released its third album, Frailty: The Hellbound Heart, while singer Joey Southside remains the only original member of the band...
