Biography
Nasty Samy : guitar Ben Dalstein : drums Jérémie Dalstein : bass, choir Forest Pookies : singing
Initially conceived as an escape from Nasty Samy (ex guitarist of Second Rate and Lost Cowboy Heroes , ex bassist of Hawaii Samurai and current bassist of Hellbats ), The Black Zombie Procession quickly became a full-fledged project when Ben Dalstein (beater of Flying Donuts ) and Sylvain Bombled (ex singer/guitarist of Second Rate and current drummer of Generic ) joined him and decided in the wake to record an album. Kicking Records allows them to realize this by offering them a deal for the release of their first 13 tracks: We Have Dirt Under Our Nails From Digging This Hole We're In . With the rapid importance of the project, the horde is hungry for tours (the first will take place in February 2007) and opts for the integration of a fourth member in the person of the other brother Dalstein of Flying Donuts, Jeremie, on bass (Nasty Samy having recorded guitars and bass on the record).
Forest Pookies then joined the band as lead singer. A 45 lap split with Billy Gaz Station to warm up, and the supergroup released the cover with a second album: Mess with the Best, Die like the Rest.
