The Chariot
Biography
The Chariot was formed in 2003 on the initiative of Josh Scogin, former singer of Norma Jean, and plays a Christian Metalcore. They signed on Solid State Records and released in 2004 their first album Everything Is Alive Everything Is Breathing Nothing Is Dead Nothing Is Bleeding recorded in one shot. The CD, which is rather well received by the press, allows them to chain the lives that are known as chaotic and destructive, like the group. After an EP Unsung in 2005, they returned in 2007 with their second album The Fiancée, providing the same recipe mixing music and religion. Where Norma Jean sought to make relatively long songs, The Chariot, when to them, tries to make the shortest, kind of unhealthy and nauseaty condensation. In 2009, The Chariot returned with his new album, Wars And Rumors Of Wars. The band quickly chained the concerts, emphasizing a ubiquitous communication (web episodes), allowing to follow their tour and the beginnings of recording their next album, Long Live . The latter arrived in the ferries in November 2010. Some time and later concerts, The Chariot closed again in the studio for One Wing, whose song names form a complete sentence. Unfortunately, mid-August 2013, the combo announces its separation after 10 years of activities with a last tour in October and a simple message "All's Well That Ends Well".
