The Destroyed Room

While there is nothing to suggest when listening to his music – both in terms of genre and accent, because singing is in English – The Destroyed Room (probable reference to Sonic Youth's B-Sides album) is from Barcelona. Formed at the very beginning of 2009, the Catalan combo expresses between country, punk folk and emo acoustic. Cringe, an Ep, marks their first recording. He follows a split with Mako Shark and a compilation entitled The First Six Month. A year later, The Eastern Winds, whose whole idea seems summarized in a sentence on the booklet: "Show your love, it doesn't make you vulnerable".
