Biography

The Devil Wears Prada is a Christian metalcore band from Dayton, Ohio. Mike Hranica (Chant), Chris Rubey (Guitare), Jeremy DePoyster (Guitare / Chant), Andy Trick (Basse), Daniel Williams (Battery) and James Baney (Claviers) formed the band in 2005, inspired by the book of the same name by the novelist Lauren Weisberger and have been able to remain welded since the start. A first ep, Patterns Of A Horizon was born very quickly in 2005 and then signed by Rise Records which invites them to re-record the songs for their first album: Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord. But it was especially with Plagues the following year that the success of the band increased reaching good places in the charts with the singles HTML Rulez D00d and Hey John, What's Your Name Again? . The Devil Wears Prada takes part in the Warped Tour 2008 and 2009 and shoots with many bands such as Underoath, P.O.S, Soasin, Sky Eats Airplane. US launches With Roots Above And Branches Below in 2009 and sales are even better which allows the group to perform first part of All That Remains, Killswitch Engage and Dark Tranquility. In 2010, The Devil Wears Prada recorded five new tracks for Zombie Ep very soon after their fourth album, Dead Throne, which was released just a year later.
