Biography
Couple or unarticulated puppets, The Dresden Dolls (Amanda Palmer - chant and piano and Brian Viglione - drums) meet in 2001 and claim to be covered in the gothic movement, preferring the name cabaret punk Brechtien .
Renowned for the theatrical dimension of his concerts, where he blended in orgy theatre, dance, painting and music, the duo released a first live compilation, A Is for Accident in 2003 followed by an eponymous album, the following year, the first real effort of the band who preferred the warmth of the stage and the public to the isolation in the studio.
