Subsequently signed on the labels XOXO, Sabot Productions and SideOnedummy, The Gaslight Anthem is a punk rock/folk band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Heir of the "jersey shore sound", influenced by bands like Against Me! , Hot Water Music but also by the classic North American sound (Neil Young , Johnny Cash ), the quartet released in 2007 its first album – Sink or swin – hailed by the public and critics. A year later, Senor and The Queen – an ep 4 title – was born in late that year with the release of the second effort of the band The ‘59 sound , also crowned with success in the independent milieu.
