The Gorgeous is first and foremost the initiative of one man: Dali Shaw. The latter, having composed some songs, decided to recruit musicians in order to give life to his music. His brother Miguel, accompanied by his best friend Julien, join him and book shows while looking for a singer. After a few tests, Jordan Daniel took full attention, and finally got boarded on the roads of the far north. The quartet travels the continent to fail in Montreal; comes the addition of a second guitarist, Hal ferris, then signed on the Canadian label Distort (Alexisonfire , The Bled , ...) which released their first full-length, Great Lakes, in November 2005.
