The Halo Effect

The Halo Effect is formed in 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden by Mikael Stanne (Chant - Dark Tranquility , ex In Flames ) and Niclas Engelin (Guitare - ex In Flames ) with the aim of playing the Death Metal Melodium in the old. In 2020, the duo surrounds Peter Iwers (Basse - ex In Flames), Daniel Svensson (Battery - ex In Flames) and Jesper Strömblad (Guitare - ex In Flames , ex Hammerfall , ex Nightrage ) for the composition of their first album, Days Of The Lost . It appeared in 2022 at Nuclear Blast Records and is a blend of Dark Tranquility and In Flames, especially a love for the Death Metal Mélodic of the 1990s.
