The Knell

The Knell was formed in 1998 in Jerusalem, Israel, by Alec, soon joined by Noam. The duo then forms one of the country's first Doom groups. They both record a demo, Winter Shades. After changes from line-up to cascade and other missed recordings, the training decided in 2003 to stay in stand-by for a while. Until 2005 in fact, where the band, with a stable line-up composed of Noam (chant), Alec (guitar / bass), Alon (guitar), Ernst (claviers) and Nir (battery), won a deal with TotalRust Music. Harm , the first album of a new band, was released in early 2007.
