Biography

Eric Pasquereau is a young composer who is already responsible for two albums under the name The Patriotic Sunday. He spent his youth in Oklahoma and it gets heard, the poetic and neat texts, the impeccable accent. Her first album Lay Your Soul Bare was released in 2005, and is a collection of folk/jazz/bossa sweets. He leads the project a little further: European, American, and many first-game tours ( Bonnie "Prince" Billy , Animal Collective or The National ). The event was crowned with the FAIR (Help to Developing Musicians) award in 2006. Meanwhile, Eric rode with two friends the group Paper Tiger , high-flying math rock noisy having already released two burns and shot incessantly around the planet (South America, North America, Europe, China, Japan,...) The time and space were taken to make this second album a real renewal to the project The Patriotic Sunday: the songs written alone were transfigured into a group with Jonathan Seilman (This Melodramatic Sauna), Pierre Antoine Parois (Tigre Paper, Room 204) and Arthur de la Grandière (of Paper Tiger), then recorded throughout the summer 2007 with Miguel Constantino in the family home.
