The Red Chord

The five members of The Red Chord come from the Boston area (Revere to be exact) and produce a powerful blend of death/grind/hardcore reserved for the most enduring listeners. Originally staged by Guy and Kevin, respectively singer and guitarist, under the name of Ictus, the band will have to wait several months before finding the other Adam acolytes on bass and Gunface on second guitar and stop at the same time on the surname The Red Chord in 2000. In 2001 the guys worked hard by attacking during the summer on a tour of the east coast of the United States with under the arm a demo 3 tracks ; Then in December, they took over the New Alliance Studios in Boston to record with Andrew Schneider what would become their first album Fused Together In Revolving Doors. This album was released in March 2002 in the United States on Robotic Empire Records and then via Reflections Records for Europe in early 2003. For 2005, the band signed on Metal Blade records in order to release it Customers are second opus. Prey For Eyes and Fed Through The Teeth Machine were released in 2007 and 2009 respectively.
