The Setup

The Setup is the result of the association of Dries Olemans, ex-singer of Circle, offspring of the Reflections stable and the rhythmic section of Thumbs Down. The Belgian band released an ep entitled Nine Kinds of Pain on the labels Anger Management 'The First Step , Righteous Jams ) and Eyespy ( Congress ). His signature on GSR allowed him to record his first album, The Pretense of Normality , in 2005. The Setup has many dates in the company of European hardcore cadors such as Born From Pain, No Turning Back and Rise And Fall, but also American including Hatebreed, Converge, 7 Seconds, and Modern Life is War. After defending his album on the roads, notably alongside The Path Of Resistance and Ringworm, and losing his drummer Benjamin, replaced by Serch, The Setup entered the studio at the beginning of 2007 to record Minister Of Death.
