The Soft Moon

Founded in 2009 in Oakland, California, The Soft Moon is primarily the project of a man, Luis Vasquez, who designs his musical project as a form of therapy. The new Yorkais label Captured Tracks quickly spot it and it was in 2010 that the band's eponymous album was released. Critics and the public receive it well and The Soft Moon quickly becomes the symbol of a revival of the Post Punk movement. The live performances of the group, conceived as real sound and visual experiences, give it the support of a faithful community of amateurs. The second album, Zeros , was released in 2012, while Luis Vasquez decided to move to Berlin. It is therefore in this city that is composed the third album of The Soft Moon, Deeper, released in 2015. The band then embarked on a huge tour in Europe and the United States.
