Sextet The Stiletto Formal is from Phoenix, Arizona (USA). Their training dates from 2004; After just a dozen concerts opening sizes such as Murder By Death, The Snake, The Cross, The Crown, Communiqué, These Arms Are Snakes or Acceptance, they spent November in the studio recording their first self-produced EP Masochism in the Place of Romance. He was released in January 2005 and was followed by small tours, notably with Not Quite Bernadette (RIP), Forgive Durden and Pistolita . They also appear on Shot Full of Diamonds, the Smashing Pumpkins tribute to the Blood Loss Alliance label.
In early 2006 they made some dates with Bleed the Dream and The Fall of Troy and then recorded a new EP, This is My Boomstick , presenting 4 new songs and 2 live videos. The latter, still self-produced, is in the bins on March 31. This opus welcomes a new member, Brian Borneman, to the post of drummer left vacant by Nole Kennedy. In May/June they take part in a Pure Volume tour (in North America) with Greeley Estates , Yesterday's Rising , So They Say ... then they follow with the Warped Tour '06.
