Biography

Based in Michigan, The Swellers became known via the Internet. After being ranked in the top 10 of the most unsigned bands on purevolume.com, the band finds the funds to make a first independent EP End Of Discussion (2004) and is immediately propelled as a leading band of the new North American punk rock scene. The combo then turns with The Suicide Machines, Mustard Plug, Bowling For Soup, Much The Same, A Wilhelm Scream. As a result, he signed the EP Beginning of The End Again and My Everest at Search and Rescue Record in the spring of 2007. Despite the success, the line-up is undergoing major upheavals. The guitarist Garret and bassist Lance leave the ship replaced by Ryan Collins (from Alucard) and Brad Linden, who now form with Nick Diener (guitar/chant) and Jonathan Diener (battery/chant). Writing the new short album, it is expected to be released in 2009.
