The Unseen
Biography
Scott - Tripp guitar - bass, song Mark - song Pat Melzard - drums
Originally from Boston, The Unseen formed in 1994 at the initiative of Mark and Tripp, then members of The Extinct. Despite the frequent changes in line up, the band managed to maintain its course on a punk inspired by The Misfits, The Clash, Bad Religion and GBH, building a repertoire that gave birth, in 1996, to the first album, Lower Class Crucifixion. Today, The Unseen has 5 albums to its credit, a multitude of ep and split albums, as well as about 20 appearances on compilations, including Give'em the Boots 4 and Rock Against Bush. During all these years, the Bostonians played intensely, sharing the poster with The Casualties , Anti Flag , Dropkick Murphys , Sick of it All , The Suicide Machines , Agnostic Front , and even making two US tours leading the bill. This boulimie de travail resulted in a reputation for The Unseen to be elected punk band of the year 2004 at the Boston Music Awards.
