Biography

Steve Rawles : singing, guitar John Meloche : guitar, choir Graham Churchill : drums Nick Kouremenos : bass
Some time after Belvedere's separation in May 2005, Steve Rawles and Graham Churchill decided in the summer of 2006 to set up a new band. They then appeal to their friends John Meloche (FortyCentFix) and Corey Tapp (One Shot Left , ex- Fallout Frequency ) who live in different parts of Canada. Despite the distance that remains difficult to manage, they find the floor medium on compounds and record them in the fall.
At the beginning of '07, 2 demos are posted on the group's Myspace page which launches its website a little before flying to Europe in April/May where they give their first concerts during a one-month tour (a 3 tracks CD-R sampler will be made for the occasion). The first album 12 tracks, Be Excited , is recorded in June/July for an release on October 09, 2007 on a myriad of national labels more or less small (Feuzeul / Effervescence for France).
This is followed by a Canadian and then European tour in the spring (with ActionMen) and it is time for the band to start again quietly on new titles, with members still living away from each other. The opus, Be Disadjunced, was completed in November, recorded in December, and appeared at the end of March 2009 (always at Effervescence Records for France), just before the annual spring tour of the North Americans, which will be on the Groezrock poster that year. They will later tour their native continent before going to Japan during the summer.
October '09, Nick Kouremenos (The Johnsons ) made his appearance in the lineup of the band at the position of bassist, replacing Corey Tapp. At the same time, the quartet announces its largest European tour for spring 2010: 54 concerts spread over two months (19 March - 18 May). After a rest period that also sees Steve Rawles release his first solo opus ( Bonus Room) and defend him on European roads, the Canadians return on September 1, 2011 with an EP titled Be Delighted (always at Effervescence Records, for Europe this time) This follows the traditional euro round, without Graham Churchill for very recent paternity.
