Biography
This Gold The Apocalypse is a technical metalcore band from Landcaster, Pennsylvania, formed in 2005 by Rick Armellino (Chant), Jack Esbenshade (Guitare), Rodney Phillips (Guitare / Chant) and Grant McFarland (Battery). The formation then without bassist recorded a first demo, Sentinels , in self-production which appeared in 2006. The following year Sen Hennessey (Basse) joined the ranks and the band could finally compose its first real album, Monuments , which was released at Lifeforce Records in 2008. This Gold The Apocalypse embarks with For Today , August Burns Red , Sky Eats Airplane and A Skylit Drive for a North American / Canada tour. In 2010, the band recorded a second album, Haut What's Left , but then lost two of its members replaced by Matthew Marcellus (Basse / Chant) and Aaron Ovecka (Battery). The Americans continue with a tour accompanied by Impending Doom and Mychildren Mybride. Two years later, Dead Years was born in cooperation with Lifeforce Records and E1 Music.
