Biography

This Will Destroy You is a must-have Post-Rock formation composed of Jeremy Galindo (Guitare) and Chris King (Guitare), Raymond Brown (Basse) and Andrew Miller (Battery) and trained in 2005 in San Marcos, Texas. Originally, when they are still in high school, Jeremy Galindo sings, but the results are not satisfactory for them and they decide to adopt only an instrumental posture. Their first production was in the form of an ep, Young Mountain, in 2005. Acclaimed by the press, the label Magic Bullet Records decides to republish their ep the following year and also produce their first album, This Will Destroy You, which affirms their progressive and instrumental Post-Rock. But Raymond left the band in 2008 replaced Donovan Jones (Basse / Claviers) and the following year Andrew left for Alex Bhore (Battery). Then followed a split, Field Studies , with their friends of Lymbyc Systemym in 2009, and the following year an ep, Moving On The Edge Of Things, which turned more towards Drone sounds. This style turn will then be confirmed with their second album which appeared in 2011, Tunnel Blanket , via Monotreme Records and Suicide Squeeze Records. In 2013, they went on a tour in Iceland, which will be recorded at their concert in the capital and who will be on the live album, Live In Reykjavik, Iceland. Then, in 2014, their third studio album was announced this fall as Another Language.
